Mindful Yoga with Lisa Rome Steiner
This year, thanks to Lisa Rome Steiner, we are able to offer a mindful yoga practice for anyone who does not wish to participate in the walk around the park. If you wish to participate in the mindful yoga practice, please bring a yoga mat or a towel!
Lisa has been practicing yoga for the last 16 years and has been certified to teach for 5. She trained with world-renowned Jimmy Barkan in both Hot Yoga and Vinyasa, levels I, II and III. She teaches at Enerzy Exchange Yoga, Hot Yoga of Delray and offers private lessons.
Always active and on the go, Lisa found yoga while recovering from 4 herniated discs as a result of 3 decades of running. She discovered that Hot Yoga led to mindfulness and strengthened her core. Subsequently, she avoided future injury by moving from a place of center and strength. Lisa felt so strongly about the benefits of yoga and practice that she wanted to share it with others.
Passionate about all aspects of yoga, Lisa has developed a large student base in the South Florida Community, leads yoga retreats and charity events in the community.

The theme of our walk is NOT ONE MORE: not one more life lost, not one more child taken, and NOT ONE MORE precious moment destroyed by this insidious disease. Help us continue to raise awareness and offer direct support to those experiencing eating disorders.
Our walk aims to celebrate everyBODY and bring awareness to eating disorders in the local community. This walk brings together hundreds of people to walk and raise funds for our community.

Do I have to raise money to attend the Walk?
You don’t have to raise money to attend but it is highly encouraged! If you choose to fundraise, you’ll not only be making an impact in our community, but you can also score some great prizes!

Do I get a T-Shirt?
Of course you do! T-Shirts are included with your registration fee. Don't forget to indicate the size(s) you need for each person being registered at the bottom of your registration page.

Can I drop my child off to attend the Walk?
All children must be under direct adult supervision at all times at the Walk.
What happens if it rains?
Rain or shine, we'll have a great time!
Where do teams check in on Walk Day?
Team members check in individually at the Registration area.
How are the prizes awarded to me if I’m part of a team?
Prizes are awarded based upon individual fundraising accomplishments regardless of team affiliation.
What do I need to bring with me to check–in?
Cash/credit card for raffle items, sunscreen, and a desire to create a footprint in your community!

You must fill out your phone number in all registration forms without using dashes.
Promotion Codes: On the summary page, it will list your information to review. Before you select "Go to Checkout", in the upper right hand corner, it has a link for a promotion code. Please select link and enter your code.
Joining a Team: Unfortunately, you will not be able to join a team without creating a fundraising page. You are not required to raise money but our software does require a page to be setup for you to join a fundraising team. If you register another individual they will be emailed a link to set up their fundraising page and they will not be added to a team until they have set up this page.
Emails: Every registrant is required to have their own email address. If you are registering a child or someone who does not have an email you can use your email + a number for subsequent registrations. For example: email@example.com, firstname.lastname@example.org, email@example.com. This will allow you to register multiple people HOWEVER, you will only be able to set up ONE fundraising page for all of these registrations. This means only ONE person in these registrations will be able to join a team.
